About Gessler Clinic
The main facility at 635 First Street, North, in Winter Haven, is now comprised of approximately 54,000 square feet and provides medical and surgical care in virtually all areas of medicine including Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, General/Thoracic/Vascular Surgery, Colo-Rectal Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dermatology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Nephrology, Endocrinology and Orthopedics.
Obstetric and Gynecologic services are provided at the Women’s Division of Gessler Clinic on Central Avenue, Winter Haven. There is also one hospitalist on staff.
The main facility provides extensive diagnostic services. These services include conventional and fluoroscopic x-ray studies, bone densitometry, computerized axial tomography, digital mammography, ultrasound, MRI and nuclear radiography studies. In-house laboratory facilities provide chemistry toxicology, urinalysis, hematology, immunology and microbiology. Non-invasive cardiography, holtor monitoring, stress testing, carotid, cardiac and peripheral vascular Doppler studies and nuclear cardiography are available as well.
Gessler Clinic expanded its physical location in February 1997 with the purchase of an adjacent building that provides another 15,000 square feet of space to accommodate the growing number of professional staff to the group that currently numbers 40 physicians. This facility, the Gessler Annex, houses Allergy/Immunology, Podiatry, Internal Medicine and Family Practice. In 2014, Pain Management moved to our Interventional Spine – Ave D location.
