Haldane Porteous, M.D.

Haldane Porteous MD, MSc, SCH, FACP Dr. Porteous is board certified in Nephrology, Internal Medicine, and he is also certified by the American Society of Hypertension as a Clinical Hypertension Specialist. Dr. Porteous completed his nephrology fellowship at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and he completed his internal medicine residency and internship at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. He holds a Master’s degree in Patient Safety from University of Illinois in Chicago and has completed numerous patient safety improvement projects with peer reviewed abstracts displayed at national meetings including the American Society of Nephrology and the Society of Hospital Medicine annual meetings. Dr. Porteous attended medical school at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica and is also a fellow in the American College of Physicians.
